Newtown Union Health Service runs outreach clinics in two locations in the Wellington Southern and Eastern areas.
- Newtown Park Flats (Community Centre 320 Mansfield Street)
On Friday mornings a nurse visits the Newtown Park Flats. A doctor also accompanies the nurse to the clinic one morning a month from 11.00am to 12.00noon.
- Strathmore Suitcase Clinic (108 Strathmore Avenue)
On Wednesday mornings we hold a doctor and nurse clinic from 9.00am to 12.00pm at the Strathmore Community Hall.
Services for non-English speaking people
We often use an interpreter to assist us in our work with non-English speaking people. We have access to interpreters in a variety of languages. Please let us know if you need this service.
We do not do travel vaccines. Please see the Wellington Travel Doctors for this service.
