Please be aware that scripts, WINZ forms and transfer of notes cannot be done immediately. Allow 3 days for scripts and WINZ forms and 10 days for transfer of notes. We also ask that people pay for their visit on the day. We may send a bill for outstanding fees.

Outreach Clinics

Newtown Union Health Service runs outreach clinics in two locations in the Wellington Southern and Eastern areas.

  • Newtown Park Flats (Community Centre 320 Mansfield Street)
    On Friday mornings a nurse visits the Newtown Park Flats.  A doctor also accompanies the nurse to the clinic one morning a month from 11.00am to 12.00noon.

Services for non-English speaking people
We often use an interpreter to assist us in our work with non-English speaking people. We have access to interpreters in a variety of languages. Please let us know if you need this service.

Travel Vaccines 

We do not do travel vaccines.  Please see the Wellington Travel Doctors for this service.
